Illegal Drug Enforcement Mission Statement

Illegal drug use/sales are a main cause of other crimes such as theft, burglary, assault, sex crimes, murder, and creates terrible stress on families.  Often individuals intoxicated on drugs and alcohol operate vehicles while they are impaired and this creates a great danger to other individuals.  Individuals that are suspected of driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs will be arrested.

There are numerous suspected/known drug dealers and users within the city limits and police jurisdiction.  Carbon Hill Police Department is currently using every asset.  CHPD will continue to seek assistance and work with the Walker County District Attorney’s Office, State law enforcement agencies, Walker County Sheriff’s Office, other Municipal law enforcement agencies, the Walker County Narcotic Enforcement Team, and Federal Law enforcement agencies to arrest and get convictions on these criminals.  We will not tolerate illegal drug dealers and users in Carbon Hill.
